Walker Lyric for Strings, Mozart Piano Concerto No. 21, & Beethoven Symphony No. 4

British conductor makes his American debut with music of European master composers Weber, Mozart, and Beethoven.  Pianist Michelle Cain debuts with MSO, and a powerful work of George Walker rounds out the program!

Vivaldi The Four Seasons, and Piazzolla The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires

Four violin soloists (from both MSO and the UofM, as well as two young prodigy violinists) will be featured on this concert.  Vivaldi’s most famous “Four Seasons” is inter-woven with the amazing Tango-inspired “Four Seasons” of Argentina’s great composer Astor Piazzolla!

Ravel Scenes from Mother Goose, Bizet duet from The Pearl Fishers, and Mahler Das Lied von der Erde

Two powerhouse opera singers, Mahler’s powerhouse “Song of the Earth,” and Ravel’s amazingly beautiful music inspired by five stories from “Mother Goose.”  A perfect concert for Spring, and a perfect way to conclude our phenomenal season!

Please note: All sales are final.  No refunds will be offered.  The Memphis Symphony Orchestra does not sell information from ticket sales.  All programs, prices, dates, times, venues and artists are subject to change.

You cannot purchase student tickets online, please call (901) 537-2500 or come to the Box Office to purchase.  There is one $5 order fee applied to every order made online or over the phone.  This fee is waived for purchases made in person at our Box Office.
