Six Saturday evening concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts.  Join us for a free Concert Preview at 6:30 p.m. in the Morgan Keegan Mezzanine Lobby.  Find directions to the Cannon Center. In a divergence from past seasons, 2 Sunday afternoon concerts will be at the Cannon Center (Oct. 27 & April 26).

Four Sunday afternoon concerts begin at 2:30 p.m. at the Germantown Performing Arts Center.  Join us for a free Concert Preview at 1:30 p.m. in the Ballet Room.  Find directions to GPAC.

Still Festive Overture, Shilkret “Tommy Dorsey” Concerto,  and Rimsky-Korsakov Scheherezade

MSO’s own Greg Luscombe plays a work written for Tommy Dorsey.  David Neely leads the orchestra in a powerful work by composer Williams Grant Still, and one of the most famous of all works – Scheherazade!

Rising percussion star Zuri Wells plays composer Keiko Abe’s awesome marimba concerto.  Top soprano Mary Wilson joins for Mahler’s powerful 4th Symphony.  And we begin with one of the most famous of all themes – Finlandia!

Music of MSO’s own Robert Patterson, and world premiere written for MSO by Michael Gandolfi, commissioned by Paul and Linnea Bert!  One of the most famous of all piano concertos, and Stravinsky Firebird make this a can’t miss experience!

The world’s most famous choral work in concert!  Orff Carmina Burana will feature 230 voices on stage!  Concert opens with a new work exploring stories of The Creation from Grammy nominee/Kennedy Center composer Mason Bates!

You cannot purchase student tickets online, please call (901) 537-2500 or come to the Box Office to purchase.  There is one $5 order fee applied to every order made online or over the phone.  This fee is waived for purchases made in person at our Box Office.
